Okay, first I'm ignoring the Barbie hair comments.
So what you are all saying is that if a studio space was available, that you would indeed frequent it. Warhol's space got a bit crazy- what would be the ground rules for this space?
It couldn't possibly be called the Factory. There was only one Warhol. Mine would simply be a studio with Factory-envy. It would need a name.
Next, art has to be produced there to justify the studio space, so two stories may be required, one for art production and one for social gatherings.
It sounds like you are insisting on a Jello pit or mud wrestling ring. Neither of which I would get near. What else is necessary? DJ booth? dance floor? Wet bar? Barista?
OK-can't imagine what responses will follow.... have fun!

Indeed Jim! you are right...As you well know there is art in many forms so not only art pieces would be produced there but also the makings of some GREAT memories...didn't think the mud or jello wresting would FLY but it would be fun...HMMM you asked what is necessary...no dress code, definitely a DJ booth or band, dance floor is a must, a wet bar needed to relax or get the juices flowing and last but not least I need the company of a certain someone...sorry jim not you but you know who that is...don't get me wrong you know i want you there...after all this is YOUR baby!
O one MoRe thing...WE need some kind of pole 2 have easy ACCESS from the 2nd floor 2 the 1st..Do WE have any FiReMeN reading this blog???If SO..We could use ur HELP....We welcome ur input..and could u show us some technique..now I'm creative..but after all.... U would know how to ride a pole...Or maybe the girls know that..hahaha
Whoa it's getting hot in here!!! UMMM...a pole? Rinky Dinks? Is this sounding a little familiar to someone??? as long as were introducing poles to the studio why not put some on tables? That could be interesting!!! We should have a few pool tables and an area designated for martial arts because we all know Jim would like to show off his talent. LOL! Mimzie has to think about this one. I have no brain power left right now after a long days work and a pulled trapezius muscle in my neck. I don't know if anything ever hurt do F****ING bad! I will put my mind to work as I drift off into a medicine induced coma(one of the perks of being a nurse). We don't mess around with pansy drugs....Until tomorrow morning. Oh this is gonna be good : )

how about getting rid of the pool tables, stripper poles and crowd. after working on your art all day, you are going to want a quiet place to relax without mud wrestling (??) and other nonsense.
lots of drapery, lots of candles and maybe a hot tub.... sorry, he's obviously not the mud wrestling type girls. I'm sure there will be a truck or gun show for you all to attend though. ;)

Well Mimzie speaks....First of all I don't think there would be a problem with anyone showing up..I think we got that covered. Liking the pole to get down to the first floor. Definately a wet bar/wine cooler, music, entertainment, BIG TV to have movie nights, and lots of space. BIG comfy couches/chairs, somewhere to prepare some food. Forget the hot tub....too much moisture...maybe outside. I think Jimmy should teach us how to make art for the general deco around the studio, of course his own studio would be priority. Most of all the Entry way for this studio is gonna be plastered with any Elvis thing we could possibly find....In case you all didn't know Elvis is Jimmy's hero! There I told you something about Jimmy that maybe you didn't know. Man that goes back a LONG way. Now I am feeling old. Last but not least I am still working on a name....Until Later : 0
Shopaholic I don't think you belong here. Maybe you should worry about your own studio and leave ours alone. Suggestions for Shopaholics studio are white walls, black floor, and a water cooler that sounds about all you need. Peace

Agree with you again mimz...LoVe the big comfy couch/chairs and movie night idea...this would be the hottest spot in town to go hang out...you're right we still need a name...something cool that gives you that WOW FACTOR...

By the way girls, the video wall or video projector wouldn't be for movie night, it would be for film screenings. Filmmakers are artists too.

No rules awesome...No drugs. Thats simple enough. I am still contemplating a name for this joint. Nothing has come to me yet. Well Spitfire, guess its me and you for the most part. LBR surely can join in when she's around. Adriana sounds cool too. Thats it for now....
